Today marks the start of the 2023 Tasmania Tour, with two representative teams from the MPJFL travelling to our most southern state to take on the North Hobart Football Academy! The representative series will consist of two matches for each team, on Saturday 11th March, and Monday 13th March.
The trials for the two touring teams commenced in December 2022, and the squads have been training hard for the last few months in preparation for the challenges that await this weekend.
We would like to congratulate the participants who were successful in making the final squads, and wish them all the best for the representative series.
Please find below the final teams that will represent the MPJFL!
Each match this weekend will be live streamed, so if you are looking for a footy fix prior to Round 1, you can catch the action live via the below links!

Opportunities like this don’t just appear out of thin air, so we would like to thank Tour Manager Andrew Souter for the tireless work that has gone into making this experience a reality for participants within the MPJFL. As well as Andrew, we would like to thank the coaches and staff for each team, led brilliantly by head coaches Paul Hudson and Marc Bressan.
The MPJFL would also like to thank Major Partners Innovative Controls, BlueScope, Bowens and Gazza B Photography for their support of the 2023 Tasmania Tour.
