As Round 1 draws near, the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League (MPJFL) is buzzing with excitement for another thrilling season ahead.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the dedicated volunteers at each club. Your hard work and passion make this league what it is, and we couldn’t do it without you. Club committees have poured in thousands of hours of hard work over the off-season, and this weekend gives us all an opportunity to celebrate their commitment by showing gratitude for the work that they do.

A huge thank you also goes out to our valued partners whose support fuels the success of the MPJFL. Your contributions enhance the experience for players and families alike.

Fixtures for Round 1 & 2 are live in PlayHQ! You view your fixture by following this link – or downloading the PlayAFL app. Fixtures for Round 3 will be released next week (during Week 1) and Fixtures for Week 4 will be released in the following week. After 4 Rounds, grading will take place for all Divisional age groups, and the fixtures for the remainder of the 2024 season will be released!

Our season got underway Friday Night, with the launch of our very first Under 10 Girls competition! There were 7 teams from 6 participating clubs, which is an extremely exciting step forward for the MPJFL.

As we gear up for the season, let’s celebrate the rich history and culture of the MPJFL. We’re more than just a league; we’re a strong community united by our love for the game.

Registrations are still open, so don’t miss your chance to join a club prior to the MPJFL season. Our clubs provide a great environment for participants of all skill and experience levels.

This is also a great opportunity to promote the importance of respect at all of our junior venues. Parents and spectators need to act in an appropriate manner towards all officials, players and umpires, to create the safe and welcoming environment that makes junior football a great place to be.

Get ready to kick off another fantastic season of junior football with us. See you all around the grounds in 2024!
