We are extremely excited to announce that expressions of interest for the 2024 MPJFL New Zealand Tour are now open!
The New Zealand Tour Is a highlight of the MPJFL calendar, and is a fantastic opportunity for participants within the MPJFL to play football at the international level, competing against the AFL New Zealand Academy in a two match series. The AFL New Zealand Academy is made up aspiring Australian Rules players, and talented athletes, that are part of the NZ High Performance Programs.
The 2024 Tour will consist of three age groups playing a two match representative series over 5 days. This coming year, the tour will be returning to Auckland, after a great experience in 2023.
Some highlights of the tour always include activities within Auckland, bonding experiences with the team, the AFLNZ High Performance Awards Dinner, cultural experiences, the matches and much more.
The New Zealand Tour is a club-nominated program, with each club able to nominate players who are wanting to participate and take the most of this fantastic opportunity. As such, we are now officially opening registrations for the 2024 Tour. Spots for the tour are limited, and players wanting to nominate do not have to be a part of any current interleague team.

Under 14s Boys (Current 13s)
Under 15s & 16s Boys (Current 14s & 15s)
Under 15s & 17s Girls (Current 14s, 15s and 16s Girls – Unless aged out)
The cost for the tour is currently being calculated, and will be communicated via the clubs shortly.
If you are interested in submitting an EOI for the tour, please contact your club who will pass your contact details on to the league.
Please be mindful that spots are limited, and there are no trials. The team will be selected by club nominations’ only.
