The Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League would like to announce to all members that at last night’s League Meeting, the MPJFL clubs voted in favour of entering the AFL South East Regional Competition in 2024.
The following age groups will participate in the Regional Competition:
- Under 15 Boys
- Under 16 Boys
- Under 17 Boys
- Under 16 Girls
- Under 18 Girls
The Competition features teams from the Frankston & District Junior Football League (F&DJFL), and the South East Juniors (SEJ). Both leagues will meet separately on Tuesday 5th September to accept the MPJFL into the AFL South East Regional Competition.
The MPJFL is confident that this decision will create a significant opportunity for the league to facilitate a competitive environment for all age groups moving forward, and look forward to collaborating with the AFL South East to ensure that the transition period is as seamless as possible.
More information regarding competition logistics and planning will be available in the coming months and will be distributed to all members and clubs in a timely manner.
