The Dandenong Stingrays Girls have gotten off to a flying start in their 2022 campaign, recording dominant wins over Geelong Falcons and Gippsland Power to sit at the top of table going into Round 3.

The Stingrays squad, which represents our region in the NAB league competition, is packed full of girls from clubs within our league.

Over the last few seasons, as female football goes from strength to strength, our clubs have been investing the time and resources into developing their programs to meet the growing needs of the talent pathway.

This year, the stingrays’ squad of 38 contains 21 girls from MPJFL clubs, which is a testament to volunteers from within our league, clubs putting in the time and resources to developing their female program, and most of all the players for showing determination and perseverance to gain selection in the region’s best 38 players.
